Who We Are
Our website address is: https://avalock.com. This website serves as a platform to showcase and provide interactive chatbot experiences. The website is operated by Ava Lock’s AI Bot Shop.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string. This information is collected to help detect spam. Additionally, visitors must be logged in to leave comments, and all data will be associated with their account for better tracking and spam prevention.
An anonymized string (also called a hash) created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Chatbot Conversations
Chats conducted with AI bots on this website are private. While chat transcripts and IP addresses are logged and stored in a secure database, they are not shared with third parties and are not actively monitored. This data is used exclusively to analyze chatbot performance, improve responses, and enhance the overall user experience.
Additionally, chatbot interactions may be used to personalize user experiences, such as by pre-filling forms to improve usability. As learning machines, chatbots may also remember previous conversations with registered users. While users can delete chatbot conversations, these interactions will still remain in the system logs.
Media
Users can upload images to chat with certain AI bots on this website. These images are processed within the conversation, allowing the bots to analyze and respond to them. However, uploaded images remain private and are not shared publicly.
If you upload images elsewhere on the website (such as in comments or user profiles), you should avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as it may be possible for others to extract this information.
Cookies
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you leave a comment, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just commented on. It expires after one day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely to facilitate automatic approval of follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
Chats conducted with AI bots on this website are stored indefinitely as part of ongoing chatbot improvements and training models. This conversational data is not shared with third parties and is only used to enhance chatbot performance.
For users who register on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except for their username). Website administrators can also see and edit this information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including chats and any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Chat transcripts cannot be deleted automatically due to the nature of guest interactions.
To request deletion of a chatbot conversation, users must provide:
• The date of the chat
• The name of the bot they interacted with
• A brief description of the conversation content
This information is required to locate and verify the correct chat log. If the user has an account, managing data may be easier, but guest interactions do not have an automated deletion option. Email chat deletion requests to contact [at] avalock [dot] com.
Where your data is sent
Currently, chatbot interactions are stored solely for the purpose of improving chatbot performance and user experience. No data is shared externally, and all interactions remain within the system. Users have the option to delete their personal profiles, but all interactions will remain in the system logs.
